"Yucky Service AND Food" I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but the sour taste is still in my mouth- and I just have to get it out by sharing. This is my first time here and I am greeted at the door by a raunchy "hostess" who immediately announces the need to get us out of there within a limited time because it was going to get filled up soon. I had to take a second to register...it just didn't bode well with me, but I proceeded to my table anyway. Throughout dinner I couldn't help but to feel like every waiter/waitress was WAITING on us...before we could drop our utensils, the plates were swiftly removed off of our tables. I felt like saying "okay, I get the point...we need to leave soon!" Soon after we are inconveniently interrupted and asked to give up the spare chair at our table, which meant we had to remove the coats and purses, because they "need it for another table"- meanwhile we couldn't help but notice that about half of the restaurant had empty chairs- perhaps the one at ours was the special spare chair. To further bring home their message, when we request the dessert menu we are told it is unavailable when there is an event at the Garden nearby because the kitchen gets backed up. I won't press the matter of them wrongfully accusing (embarrassing) us by saying that our gift card had insufficient funds- it turns out they "swiped the wrong card by accident." Ultimately the service was extremely distasteful- and so was the food, for that matter. We spent over one hundred dollars in that place and were treated as "less-than's." I felt like their attitudes towards us was rude, disrespectful, intrusive and I never felt so blatantly rushed as I did tonight- I get the impression that they have patience and good service for "celebrities only." It was worse to later find out that the raunchy hostess who greeted us at the door with the "get out of here fast" message was actually an owner! If the dinner had not been a gift, I would have surely had more to say to the managers. I felt extremely offended. They will never see us there again!
"OMG - the worst dining experience in YEARS" Could not rate it below a 1. Service was poor, acoustics were worse. The manager was terribly rude. Orderd from a special menu but the food did not arrive as ordered. Somehow that became our fault!! Just a group of 4 and they could not bring the food at the same time. Save your money and dine on Hanover St.
"Dining Disaster" I choose this restaurant because they offer a gluten free (GF) menu but when my pizza arrived, I was informed that it wasn't GF and that I had order incorrectly. I had been very specific in the ordering of my dinner and did not appreciate being told that the error was my fault. This restaurant is noisy, the food so-so and the customer service is awful. I will not go back especially when there are so many other terrifice places to dine in North Boston.
"WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE" We were greeted by someone who was nasty, rude, yelling at people dining in the restaurant! We asked why if felt so hot and she told us because it is 95 degrees out what do you expect! She proceeded to be nasty and consistently actually mean - then the food we ordered actually matched the hostess's behavior (who we found out actually was one of the owners of the restaurant. The over priced pizza that we ordered was tasteless and I think it was left over because when it came to our table it was cold. There was nothing nice about this restaurant and anyone who goes there is making such a huge mistake! Take your money and spend your time elsewhere!
