Joining the As Roma Nike team as Retail Manager, you will support the General Manager on defining the vision and the retail strategy for As Roma Club Stores, and leading and executing the related retail plan.
Responsibilities:
Manage existing partners:
Holistic management of all existing partners.
Contact person in all steps of business process: from buying to product presentation, from store operations to serve the final consumers.
Onboarding new partners:
Explore opportunity for onboarding of new partners sizing the retail expertise, the financial and org structure.
Evaluate business plan and feasibility.
Retail Marketing Plan Execution:
Accountable for execution of the Retail Marketing plan for each and every store, liaising with both the AS Roma Club and Nike team.
Active contribution to improve and adjust all Retail Marketing initiatives.
Store Opening:
Site visit and assessment, profit & loss analysis and business plan submission.
Lead and execute the transformation / refit of all existing locations and the opening process of new stores.
Retail Business Planning:
Deliver business planning, budgeting and performance targets in the seasonal planning process for the As Roma Club Stores business.
Support the seasonal buying process and creation of directional, balanced and commercial assortment for As Roma Club stores aligned with distribution policies, commercial opportunities and budgets set for each store.
Support the execution of merchandising plans and seasonal key stories with the wholesale partners and country Category / Sales teams.
Plan and execute individual Quarterly business review with all partners.
Business Management and Profitability:
Drive and lead communication with Territory Football Category team (Assortment Planning, Sales, Product Presentation, etc) to constantly support the As Roma Club Store business through in season analysis and action plans.
Monitor deliveries to As Roma Club stores and ensure they are in line with seasonal timing of load-in plans and in store stock needs.
Ensure assortment and order entry deadlines are met to secure product availability.
Plan, execute and monitor balance of product assortment between Nike Branded vs Licensed products.
Manage all product management processes for new store openings.
Closely monitor sell-through of stores and actively advice Territory teams of at once opportunities and stock levels adjustments for slow moving product.
New Business Opportunity:
Explore new Brick & Mortar retail business opportunities: new stores, new shopping experiences, thinking "out of the box".
Maximize Retail Business opportunity in key seasonal dates / events : Summer training camp – Friendly Games in other Countries.
Communication:
Monthly participation to the FTB Category Team meeting to report on the business status and align on execution plan.
Prepare and circulate weekly business report to monitor performance of the As Roma Stores.
Monthly visit of As Roma Stores to review store operations, product zoning and assortments and discuss with partners / store managers.
Build and elevate relationship with partner as point person for As Roma Merchandising.
